Venezuelan Scientific Journals in Scopus

The historical behavior of Venezuelan journals indexed in Scopus from 2000 to 2020, their visibility and impact were studied. data obtained the Scimago Journals Country Rank portal a number journals, published papers, factor (SJR) quartile location. each variable was analyzed using sequential time series models establish whether has been random or it follows defined trend. It found that both papers follow definite trends SJR behaves randomly. decrease may be influenced by critical socioeconomic situation country; however, increased over remained narrow range, meaning most fall between Q3 Q4 quartile.
